iPad Pro tops the benchmark charts!
Yesterday, Apple launched the iPad Pro, The company’s newest venture into the tablet market that is making quite some waves in the corporate and artistic sectors, Thanks to it’s keyboard and the pencil along with the bigger and better screen with hours of battery life.
Now, There is no surprise that this device is crazy powerful. Tim Cook showed just how powerful it is when we saw the 1.3 million wire mesh rendering and 4K video editing on it but we didn’t know that whether the tablet has enough RAM – A component Apple has been criticised since the beginning of the Smartphone/Tablet wars as they try to keep it at the minimum level possible.
With the A9X chip, We already knew that it is approximately 2X faster than the previous best iPad – The iPad Air 2. But, Right now, Adobe has just confirmed that the new iPad Pro boasts of a never-before-seen (In an iOS device) 4GB RAM!
So, The first thing reviewers and testers thought about were the benchmarks! The iPad Pro is expected to score a minimum of a mind-boggling 12,000 score! The device that even comes near to this is iPhone 6S itself (At around 6000) and then the Samsung Galaxy S6 (5000). But, The iPad Pro is now setting a new benchmark as to how powerful a mobile device can get!
So, If you want the most powerful mobile device, Don’t hesitate to buy the iPad Pro!
“The iPad Pro is expected to score a minimum of a mind-boggling 12,000 score! ” On what benchmark would this be?
Thanks!
This is being reffered to in context with Geek Bench 3
Guess, what, dude?!? The iPro didn’t even hit 6000!
YES! That is very surprising for me too. The single core score of 3500 proved to be better than whatever we had seen before. But, Alas, The iPad Pro has failed to impress. I have written a blog post here only about this , You must read –
